The Opportunity
We are seeking a strategically-minded and culturally astute Content and Social Media Specialist to be the regional expert for two cutting-edge global brands: REDMAGIC (high-performance mobile gaming) and HYPERSHELL (advanced exoskeleton robotics).
Based in Dubai, your primary mission is to adapt, localize, and manage the HQ-developed content for the Middle East and Africa (MEA), ensuring maximum impact and cultural resonance across diverse regional markets while maintaining brand consistency.
Key Responsibilities & Impact
A. Content Localization & Adaptation
- Regional Gatekeeper: Lead the localization of all global content (copy, visuals, video) for both the high-energy RM brand (B2C) and the technical HS brand (B2C/B2B/B2G).
- Cultural Translation: Move beyond simple translation by adapting messaging, visual references, and tone to ensure content is compelling and culturally appropriate for the MEA audience.
- Marginal Local Content: Strategically identify gaps and create targeted, high-impact marginal local content (e.g., specific regional event coverage, localized influencer content, market-specific case studies) to supplement global campaigns.
- Language Expertise: Oversee and validate the quality of all content published in key regional languages, with a strong focus on Arabic.
B. Social Media Management & Campaign Oversight
- Platform Execution: Manage the day-to-day posting schedule, campaign rollouts, and community management across relevant MEA social channels (e.g., Snapchat/ Instagram/TikTok/X).
- Regional Insights: Provide HQ with actionable data and insights on regional content performance, competitive landscape, and audience behavior to inform future global content strategy.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with regional Sales and Marketing teams to ensure localized content effectively supports product launches, promotional periods, and business objectives.
C. Content Systems & Compliance
- CMS Utilization: Efficiently manage localized content within the Content Management System (CMS), ensuring accurate tagging, version control, and timely deployment.
- Brand Compliance: Ensure all localized content strictly adheres to global brand guidelines while navigating regional compliance and regulatory requirements.
What We're Looking For (Required Skills)
Language Fluency is Essential:
- English: Native or near-native written and verbal fluency for professional communication and content comprehension.
- Arabic: Flawless written and reading proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) for authentic localization, editorial review, and culturally sensitive copywriting.
Experience: 2-3 years of proven experience in a Content Localization or Social Media Specialist role, ideally within the MEA region.
Tech Sector Expertise: Demonstrable experience working with either consumer electronics/gaming brands (B2C) or technical/industrial/health-tech products (B2C/B2B/B2G).
Digital Native: A deep, current understanding of social platform algorithms, content formats, and best practices across both professional (LinkedIn) and consumer (TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat) networks.
