Job Description

Role Overview:

The Content Creator is responsible for creating and editing high-quality video content for Marketplace – Classified platform. They will work closely with the video producers, social media, and sales managers to produce compelling videos that align with the company's marketing objectives and brand identity. The Video Content Creator will bring creativity, technical expertise, and a keen eye for detail to produce visually engaging videos that captivate the target audience.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Edit and assemble raw footage into polished and visually appealing videos, ensuring a seamless flow and narrative coherence.
  • Enhance video quality by applying color correction, grading, and other post-production techniques.
  • Incorporate audio, music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance video impact.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize video ideas that align with marketing campaigns and objectives.
  • Translate concepts into compelling visual stories that resonate with the target audience.
  • Work closely with content strategists and marketing managers to ensure that video content aligns with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Tailor video content to specific digital platforms and target audiences.
  • Create motion graphics and animations to add visual interest and dynamic elements to videos.
  • Utilize animation tools and techniques to enhance storytelling and engagement.
  • Optimize video formats and file sizes for various digital platforms, ensuring efficient video delivery and playback.
  • Review and maintain the quality and consistency of all video content produced by the team.
  • Ensure that video projects adhere to brand guidelines and standards.
  • Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors when necessary.
  • Analyze video performance metrics and user engagement data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Use insights to enhance future video strategies.
  • Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques, trends, and tools to maintain the highest level of creativity and technical expertise.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Media, Film, Digital Media, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–3 years of professional experience in video content creation and editing.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing social media and promotional video work.
  • Proficient in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
  • Strong skills in video editing, color correction, sound design, and basic motion graphics.
  • Experience creating short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Good understanding of social media best practices and audience engagement.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
