Role Description The Content Strategist is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This role is responsible for developing and overseeing content strategies that align with client business objectives and brand positioning across multiple channels. Day-to-day tasks include conducting audience and market research, planning content calendars, defining key messaging, and coordinating with creative, marketing, and account teams to ensure consistent execution. The Content Strategist will guide content development, review and refine drafts, optimize web content for engagement and clarity, and track performance to continuously improve content effectiveness. The role also involves presenting strategic recommendations to stakeholders and maintaining clear documentation of content plans, guidelines, and workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Content Strategy and Content Management, with the ability to plan, organize, and govern content across platforms.
- Proficiency in Content Development and Web Content Writing, including creating clear, engaging, and brand-aligned materials.
- Excellent Writing abilities, with attention to structure, tone, and accuracy.
- Experience in marketing or advertising environments, preferably in 360° or integrated campaigns.
- Ability to analyze audience insights and performance data to inform content decisions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and presenting strategic recommendations.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
