Job Description

We are looking to onboard experienced Arabic Content Writer to support the development of a comprehensive content strategy and the creation of high-quality content for our banking website. The role requires strong prior experience in content writing within the retail banking or B2C financial services domain.

The writer will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure content is accurate, compliant, user-friendly, and aligned with the bank's brand voice and business goals.

Candidates Must Meet All Of The Following

  • Proven experience in content writing for the retail banking, digital banking, fintech or financial institutions
  • UX writing or microcopy experience (CTAs, forms, error messages)
  • Minimum 3 years of professional content writing experience
  • Strong understanding of banking products and services, such as: Accounts, loans, credit cards, Islamic banking, investments, digital banking, etc.
  • Experience writing website content, including: Home Page, Product pages, Informational pages, Customer education content, FAQs etc.
  • Ability to write persuasive, clear, accurate and compliant content suitable as per regulations
  • Bachelor's degree in Arabic, communications, linguistics, or related field (Master's degree, a plus)

Language Proficiency

Native Arabic proficiency (Modern Standard Arabic required)

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and contribute to the content strategy for the banking website
  • Write, edit, and update website content to ensure accuracy, clarity, regulatory awareness, consistency in tone and messaging
  • Translate complex banking concepts into simple, user-friendly language
  • Align content with:
  • Brand guidelines and messaging tone
  • UX and customer journey best practices
  • SEO
  • Collaborate with required stakeholders - marketing, product, compliance/legal stakeholders
  • Ensure consistency between English and Arabic content

  • Strong research and fact-checking skills
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading abilities
  • Ability to work with structured content and brand tone of voice
  • Attention to detail, especially for regulated content
  • Time management and ability to meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working with feedback and revisions

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Experience working with Tridion CMS platforms
  • Knowledge of compliance, regulatory, or legal review processes
  • Experience in content audits and content gap analysis
  • Familiarity with accessibility and readability standards
