Role Description:

The Contract Administration - Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo, Egypt. The role includes preparing, reviewing, and administering engineering contracts, ensuring compliance with company standards, legal requirements, and client specifications. The engineer will support contract negotiations, coordinate with procurement and project teams, and track contract performance, variations, and claims. Daily responsibilities also involve analyzing contractual risks, maintaining accurate documentation and contract registers, and supporting timely approvals and payments. The role requires close collaboration with engineers, project managers, finance, and suppliers to ensure consistent contract execution and alignment with project objectives.

Qualifications

  • Strong contract management and contract administration skills, including experience with engineering or construction contracts.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Engineering or construction company
  • FIDIC or CLAC expert is a MUST
  • Proficiency in contract negotiation and procurement processes, with the ability to support vendor selection and commercial evaluations.
  • Robust analytical skills for reviewing contract terms, assessing risks, and interpreting technical and financial data.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical, or related discipline) or a closely related field.
  • Experience in consulting, infrastructure, or construction projects is highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with relevant contract standards, local regulations, and basic legal concepts related to engineering services.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in standard office and project management software.
  • Ability to work on-site in Cairo, Egypt, and coordinate with regional and international stakeholders as needed.
