Main Job Purpose

Review contract documents to address potential risks and follow up the daily correspondences to assure the implementation is complying with the contract and take needed actions if there any deviation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or Law.
  • 2 4 Years of experience.
  • Contract Negotiation and Contract Management skills to draft, review, and negotiate effective agreements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point).
  • Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating contractual terms and identifying risks.
  • Good Communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of legal frameworks and regulations relevant to construction and contracting.
  • Proficiency in contract management software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Check the terms and conditions of a new tender to highlight expected risks that affect cost and time.
  • Create nominated Subcontractors contracts from scratch in accordance with the main contracts conditions.
  • Create a risk assessment report regarding the agreed upon terms and conditions of the new contract signed with the client.
  • Follow up with the Project Manager in order to make sure that the contracts terms are being complied with.
  • Send a notice for claim to the client in case any change in the contract took place.
  • Negotiate the claims with the client to reach a win-win situation and maintain company's rights.
  • Prepare TOC (Terms of Contract) to the client in order to hand over the finished part of the project according to the contract while tracing the variations of the current contract.
  • Issue claim letters to clients based on the contract conditions, when needed, to deliver remaining financial dues on time.
  • Comply with the company management system according to ISO standards ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 & ISO 14001:2015.
  • Support in handling other assignments within the scope of the department if required to facilitate achieving the departmental goals.
