Role Description
The Contract Executive will play a key role in managing and overseeing contract-related activities to ensure smooth operations and compliance with the responsibilities as follows.
- Analyse, advise, and monitor contractual obligations for heavy lift and transport projects
- Act as a key link between project management, engineering, legal, and commercial teams
- Be involved from the tender phase through execution and project close-out
- Support teams in interpreting contract clauses, scope, variations, claims, and change orders
- Identify, assess, and monitor contractual risks and opportunities, advising on mitigation strategies
- Assist in negotiations with clients, joint venture partners, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Prepare and coordinate claims, counterclaims, and contractual correspondence
- Contribute to improving internal contract management processes and tools
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in contract management, claims, or commercial project support
- Proven negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Experience in EPC, heavy lift, offshore, energy, or infrastructure is a strong plus
- Previous experience in contract management or a related field is essential
- Experience in the heavy lifting, transportation, or related industries is a plus
