Job Title: Contract Manager Projects

Company: (SBU) A Strategic Business Unit of Abunayyan Holding

Solutions Providing: Instrumentation, SCADA, PLC & Smart Cities, Industrial 4.0 Solutions

Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Experience Required: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in contracts project handling within Instrumentation, SCADA, PLC, MBS, and Industrial 4.0 Digital Solutions projects.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to manage, support, review and execute contracts related to our solutions as Instrumentation, SCADA, PLC, MBS, and Industrial 4.0 Digital Solutions projects across multiple sectors. The role requires strong expertise in Material estimation, Commercial management, Bidding and end-to-end contract administration for automation and digital transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract & Commercial Management

  • Manage the full lifecycle of contracts from bid stage to project closure, including review, negotiation, execution, variations, and claims.
  • Prepare, review, and administer contracts, subcontracts, amendments, and change orders.
  • Ensure contractual compliance with client requirements, company policies, and Saudi regulations.
  • Handle commercial correspondence, risk identification, mitigation, and contract-related disputes.

Material Estimation & Cost Control

  • Participate in material take-off and estimation for:
  • Instrumentation systems
  • SCADA & PLC systems
  • MBS and Industrial Digital Solutions
  • Support budgeting, cost tracking, and commercial forecasting.
  • Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations and commercial offers.

Bid & Tender Support

  • Support tendering and bidding activities, including:
  • Commercial proposal preparation
  • Contractual risk assessment
  • Costing and pricing strategy support
  • Coordinate with engineering, sales, and project teams during pre-bid and post-bid stages.
  • Review tender documents, terms & conditions, and client specifications.

Project Support & Coordination

  • Work closely with Project Managers, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor contract deliverables, milestones, payment terms, and invoicing schedules.
  • Support variation orders, claims, and final accounts.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on contractual and commercial matters.
  • Support negotiations with vendors and subcontractors to ensure best commercial outcomes.

Required Technical Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of:
  • SCADA systems
  • PLC-based control systems
  • Instrumentation & control systems
  • MBS (Monitoring / Building Management Systems)
  • Industrial 4.0 & Digital Solutions
  • Smart Cities
  • Knowledge of automation projects in sectors such as:
  • Oil & Gas
  • Power & Utilities
  • Manufacturing
  • Infrastructure
  • Industrial facilities

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, or related field) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in contract management for automation / digital / instrumentation projects.
  • Proven experience in commercial negotiations, bid support, and contract administration.
  • Experience working on multi-sector industrial projects is highly preferred.
