An international engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join its team in Qatar working on a marine leisure development project. Seeking candidate who can join within 2 weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all contract administration activities across the project lifecycle.
- Manage contractual correspondence, notices, and change management processes.
- Provide commercial and contractual advice to project teams and senior stakeholders.
- Review and negotiate contract terms with clients, contractors, and consultants.
- Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and project deliverables.
- Support claims management, dispute resolution, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with commercial, legal, and project management teams to ensure contractual alignment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Law, or related discipline.
- 10+ years experience in contract management on large infrastructure or marine projects.
- Strong knowledge of international contract forms (e.g., FIDIC).
- Proven experience managing contracts within engineering consultancy or major development environments.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to start immediately or on very short notice.
