Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Drafting & Negotiation

  • Prepare, review, and negotiate commercial, vendor, subcontractor, and client agreements
  • Ensure legal and policy compliance during contract formation
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to secure favorable outcomes

Contract Life cycle Management

  • Oversee contracts across pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases
  • Track deliverables, milestones, and deadlines for project-related contracts
  • Manage change orders, claims, and variations to maintain contractual alignment
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready contract documentation

Risk Management

  • Identify contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies
  • Monitor adherence to contract terms to avoid legal or financial exposure
  • Provide guidance on contract matters to senior management and project teams

Cost Control & Budget Coordination

  • Partner with project managers and finance teams to maintain budget discipline
  • Analyze contract financials, including forecasts, cost tracking, and budget variances

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure contracts meet local, national, and international regulatory requirements
  • Stay current on industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations

Dispute Resolution

  • Serve as primary contact for contract disputes; manage arbitration or legal proceedings as needed
  • Coordinate with legal teams to resolve issues with minimal project disruption

Collaboration & Mentorship

  • Work closely with project managers, procurement, legal, and external stakeholders
  • Train and mentor junior staff on contract management best practices

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare reports on contract performance, risk exposure, and financial metrics
  • Maintain comprehensive records of contracts and related correspondence

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Law, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Contract Manager on large infrastructure projects
  • TSI Wind project experience is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of project management, commercial management, and people management
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, fluent in both Mandarin and English
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen
  • Proven problem-solving and risk mitigation abilities
  • Proficiency in contract management software (e.g., Aconex, Procore) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
