Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

• Support Procurement operations through the tender process for the procurement of contracts.

• Support Requesting departments and reduce risks to sector by reviewing and advising on the correct Terms and Conditions to be used for upcoming Tenders and advising colleagues and management on areas of risk implications and compliance issues.

• Review contracts to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with sector and organization objectives.

• Collaborate with legal and other relevant departments to address any legal concerns.

• Attend project team meetings, take minutes, and action points.

• Oversee the entire contract lifecycle from initiation through negotiation, execution, and closeout.

• Local content compliance and reporting through contract lifecycle.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with contract terms and conditions.

• Collaborate with relevant departments to address risk factors and develop risk mitigation strategies.

• Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

• Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations that may impact contractual agreements.

• Foster positive relationships with vendors, internal stakeholders, and partners through effective communication and conflict resolution.

• Act as the primary point of contact for contractual matters.

• Monitor and assess contract performance against agreed-upon metrics and milestones.

• Implement processes to track and evaluate vendor and partner performance.

• Maintain accurate and organized records of all contracts and associated documents.

• Develop and maintain a centralized contract repository.

• Support maintaining Finance and Procurement databases for the Sector and ensure proper documentation at all levels.

Academic and professional qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree in data science business law, or a related field (Master's or JD preferred).

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in contract management or a related field.

• Strong understanding of contract law and business principles Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

• High-level communication and presentation skills and ability to interact with a diverse set of professional disciplines, partners, and stakeholders

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with contract management software and tools.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines.

• Great attention to detail.

Language

• Fluency in English (written and spoken)

• Fluency in Arabic (written and spoken)
