Job Description

Job Purpose

Provide technical guidance, training and staffing support in all contract administration matters, relative to both prime contracts with clients and major subcontracts awarded by company.

Tasks, Roles & Responsibilities

  • Administer on-going contracts including monitoring of contract compliance for all projects.
  • Ensure appropriate levels of communication with clients; establish control of and monitor client correspondence, data and reports
  • Ensure the administration of the contract is in line with the project requirements.
  • Management of risk/ assessments as well providing a strategic approach to support claim resolution procedures.
  • Regular meeting with clients, contractors and partners to resolve any outstanding disputes via amicable and Contract conditions.
  • Ensure delivery of successful preparation of statement of claims and defences.
  • Prepare contract synopsis to develop awareness among projects teams.
  • Interact with different departments and maintain healthy relationship.
  • Develop and maintain systems and processes related to contract administration and reporting and ensure issues reported on are actioned appropriately.
  • Supervise and Manage all contracts /claims administration activities in line with company's policies and procedures.
  • Review scontract drafts and other project specific agreements to ensure company's interest are adequately protected.

Minimum Qualification & Requirements (Filled by Requester)

Qualification

  • Strong commercial knowledge (acquainted with financial and economic principles) MBA would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of a single or multi-discipline construction and/or engineering operation relating to field activities.
  • Project Management theory
  • Contractor background
  • Familiar with general features of laws of England and Wales.
  • Acquainted with Legal drafting techniques.

Education

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering in any discipline (as appropriate)

Total Years of Experience

  • 12 to 15 Years of Work Experience

Professional Certification

  • Contractual and Legal Aspects of the Construction Industry (CLAC) or higher.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.

Work Experience (Previous work Industries)

  • Solid background and expertise on EPC projects, specifically on Oil/Gas, Utility and/or Infrastructure type projects.
  • Contractor background

Language

Fluent/Good English (written and spoken)
