About the Role

The Contract Specialist is a key role based in Dubai, reporting to the Legal Director for the Middle East and Africa region. The role involves providing guidance to the quantity surveying team and advising business and leadership teams on commercial risk management matters.

Duties and Responsibilities

Management

• Develop and implement contract management procedures in line with company policy and Legal Director guidance.
• Maintain and update standard customer and vendor/subcontractor contracts.
• Provide training and guidance to Sales, Operations, and Quantity Surveying teams on contracting practices and post-sales commercial matters.
• Support the business in interpreting contractual obligations and managing commercial risks.

Pre-Sales

• Review and advise on standard and non-standard contracts, including redlining and risk mitigation.
• Identify and communicate contractual, legal, and commercial risks to stakeholders.
• Draft and review contractual documents for bids, outcome-based contracts, and third-party agreements.
• Act as the key liaison between Sales, Operations, Finance, and Procurement to ensure compliance with procedures, DOA requirements, and risk controls.
