Position Summary

We are currently looking to hire an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team on an ongoing supervision project in the Mafraq area. The project involves overseeing the contractor responsible for the construction of roads and infrastructure works on behalf of our client,

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all contractual and commercial aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with contract terms, effective cost management, and supporting the supervision team in resolving contractual and claims-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer project contracts in line with company policies and client requirements.
• Review and interpret contract terms, conditions, and obligations to ensure compliance by all parties.
• Evaluate and manage claims, variations, and change orders raised by the contractor.
• Prepare, review, and issue contractual correspondence and notices in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Provide contractual and commercial support to the project supervision team throughout the construction phase.
• Review and verify contractor's payment applications and maintain accurate cost records.
• Participate in meetings with the client and contractor to address contractual and commercial matters.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure contractual deliverables are met as per project timelines.
• Assist in dispute resolution and ensure adherence to FIDIC and local contractual frameworks.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Minimum 20 years of total experience, including strong exposure to roads and infrastructure construction projects.
• Prior experience working with a consultant or supervision firm is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of FIDIC conditions of contract and UAE construction law.
• Proven ability to manage contracts, claims, and variations effectively.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and reporting skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and contract administration tools.

Work Environment

• Site-based position at Mafraq Area (UAE).
• 6-day work week (48 hours).
• Requires coordination with client, contractor, and internal supervision teams.
