Contracts Manager (Civil)

Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site Contracts Manager (Civil) role based in Al Jizah, Egypt. The Contracts Manager will oversee the preparation, review, negotiation, and administration of civil engineering contracts and subcontracts throughout the project lifecycle. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and legal advisors to ensure contract terms are clear, compliant, and aligned with project objectives and local regulations. The role involves monitoring contract performance, managing variations and claims, tracking deliverables and milestones, and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting. The Contracts Manager will also support risk assessment, participate in client and vendor meetings, and contribute to continuous improvement of contract management processes and standards.

Qualifications:

• Strong contract management and administration skills, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing civil engineering contracts.
• Solid knowledge of civil engineering standards, construction practices, and project management principles within infrastructure or building projects.
• Understanding of relevant legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements for construction contracts, including claims, variations, and dispute resolution.
• Proficiency in using contract management and project documentation tools, as well as standard office software (e.g., MS Office, document control systems).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment abilities with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management,
• Saudi Arabian Market Knowledge is a MUST.
• Relevant experience in contract management for civil or infrastructure projects, preferably within engineering consulting or construction firms.
• Ability to work on-site in Al Jizah, Egypt, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
