Renco is currently seeking a Field Service Control Engineer expert in the use of MARK VI/VIe/VIs control system for its MENAT pool.
Duties & responsabilities
- Directly executed and supervise the installation, powering, calibration and commissioning of the unit control panel and the control and protection systems for machinery such as steam and gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, pumps, reciprocating compressors, generator, etc.;
- Operating through UCP and DCS controllers,performed the commissioning of the machinery and plants for all tests provided by Clients (1 st start up, load test, performance test, etc);
- Executed the analysis, and modification of the software of control and aligned it with all other control systems belonging to the project;
- Compiled the reports (DOR, FSR) of the activity, apply and use the E tools such as (EDM, TCE, Fieldworks, etc.);
- Kept the relationship with the Customer and with machines manufacturers.
Required competences
- Large experience and knowledge of Installation and commissioning of the I&C systems for various type of machinery applied in the Oil & Gas and Power Generation with practices in direct work and supervision;
- Very familiar with the Installation Procedure and Programs;
- Knowledge of the technical documentation (drawings, control specification, diagrams, P&ID, Instrument List) BOM, and technical forms, etc.);
- Able to manage the availability of the spare parts, special fixtures, tools, documentation, etc.;
- Able to operate also into consideration the Quality Procedure and the HSE requirement;
- Having the background of the matter has the knowledge of installation, commissioning and machinery start up of the control systems, control panels, LV and MV electrical equipment for machinery and plants;
- Able to make analysis, and modification of the software of control and aligned it with all other control systems belonging to the project;
- Knowledge of theoretical principles of the mentioned equipment and systems working;
- Able to execute the tests provided by the manufacturers and Customer ( crank, no load and load test, continuity and performance test;
- Very familiar with instrumental systems, cold and hot loop checks;
- Very capable to manage the manpower, with high propensity to the human relationship under his supervision;
- To work in collaboration with the other FSE involved in the works;
- Able to keep the relationship with the Customer and with machinery manufacturers;
- Able to reports (DOR, FSR) of the activity, apply and use the E tools such as (EDM, TCE, Fieldworks, etc.);
- Able to work in quality (QA/QC) and safety (EHS).
Qualification
- Fluent level of English;
- Minimum of 7 years of experience, covering the roles of Control Field Engineer in Oil and gas.
