We Can Offer You The Following Tasks

  • Commissioning of rotating equipment.
  • Leading and executing independently the inspection of Heavy-duty Gas Turbines and accessories
  • Assisting the technicians during the commissioning phase. Ensuring the proper and safe operation of the machine by evaluating the running parameters and troubleshooting control system problems as they arise
  • Writing accurate professional reports acting as a single point of contact for customers and stakeholders
  • Using company e-tools to retrieve technical documents and management packing lists, bills of material and drawings
  • Leading and executing assembly/installation and alignment of the equipment including foundation and soft foot checks.
  • Ensuring all in-field activities are carried out safely complying with company environmental Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines and procedures.
  • Perform commissioning, standard maintenance, repairs and services on all type of machines in accordance with the specified guidelines.
  • Perform overhauls of various engines, pumps, turbo machineries etc
  • Execute an LMRA (Last Minute Risk Analysis) on location before starting work.
  • Correctly use PPE (personal protective equipment) provided and all HSE relevant material.
  • Carry out assembly preparation for upcoming service assignments, e.g. identify spare parts requirements for maintenance of activities, special tools, checking commissioned spare parts for completeness, allocation and correctness.
  • Collect technical data, such as work procedures, drawings, spare parts, material, etc.
  • Determine assembly procedures on site in accordance with the specified work cards / documents. Thereby be technical contact person within the group for employees with lower qualification and coach service technicians to carry out planning, maintenances commissioning, performance tests, troubleshooting & root cause analysis.
  • Provide assistance support as a specialist to MAN ES & third party customers within guidelines as stipulated by MAN standards & the local management in the coordination of the assembly process as well as assembly and disassembly of parts / assemblies according to work cards / checklists, if necessary overhaul components.
  • Support the findings on site, e.g. spare parts advice, condition pictures of parts also in a foreign language usually English.
  • Create reports and handle standard software such as Microsoft Office. Analyse maintenance data and make suggestions for improvement.
  • Report incidents, accidents and near-misses according to procedures.
  • Make sure that a time sheet is filled out and signed by the customer's representative after a finished field service job.
  • Exchange information constantly and participate in further training if necessary.
  • Implement standard maintenance and HSE policies and procedures according to MAN standards guideline and Code of Conduct by using various tools.

You Can Help Us With These Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in instrumentation engineering or equivalent engineering degree or a diploma from a reorganized university.
  • Minimum 5 years hands on experience in the field of rotating equipment maintenance engineering and services.
  • Experience in machinery rotor commissioning & details and cross sectional drawings
  • Commissioning of rotating equipment system
  • Turbo Log and PCS7 and other soft / hardware programs
  • Analyze equipment failure knowledge - Vibration analysis using Bentley Nevada (system 1) and CSI programs
  • Principles of rotating equipment skill.
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting skills.
  • Communicate effectively with management, external bodies and all levels of employees
  • Review maintenance and integrity assumptions knowledge.
  • Root Cause analysis process proficiency different methods
  • Training of technicians
  • Complete and develop reports
  • Consulting internally and with customers
