Role Purpose:
Provide advanced technical expertise to the Service Centre team on control solutions related to HVAC systems, ensuring efficient design, configuration, integration, and troubleshooting of control systems in line with project requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and operate control systems and electrical connections, primarily HVAC control sub-systems, in line with project specifications.
- Develop strong knowledge of building management systems (BMS), open protocols, and smart controllers.
- Plan and implement effective control solutions across HVAC systems within the company's product range.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation including:
- Flow diagrams
- Sequence of operations
- Bill of materials (BOM)
- Network layouts
- Electrical schematics
- Lead technical discussions related to control and electrical systems with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Participate in project meetings and support field teams with control system solutions.
- Perform troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning of HVAC control systems.
- Apply value engineering to deliver cost-effective and efficient solutions while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Support manufacturers by providing system configuration updates and technical feedback.
- Contribute to internal training programs related to smart systems, BMS, and control technologies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including proper use of PPE during site work.
Experience & Technical Requirements:
- Minimum 510 years of direct experience in Controls Engineering, specifically in:
- System integration
- Troubleshooting
- Testing & commissioning
- Strong hands-on experience in HVAC control systems and building automation.
- Proven expertise in:
- Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Open protocols and smart controllers
- Electrical and control diagrams
- Control circuits and building operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (Mechatronics), or a related field.
- Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
