COO Business Manager, MENA Wealth Management, Swiss Pure Play Private Bank, Switzerland

Our client is a leading Swiss pure-play private bank with a well-established international franchise and a strong commitment to the Middle East. As part of the continued growth of its regional wealth management business, the bank is seeking an experienced COO Business Manager to support the strategic development and day-to-day management of its Middle East franchise.

Based in either Dubai or Switzerland, this role will partner closely with regional leadership to drive business performance, strategic initiatives, governance and business management activities across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with regional leadership to execute the strategic priorities of the Middle East business.
• Drive business planning, budgeting, forecasting and headcount management.
• Monitor franchise performance through management information, KPIs and business analytics.
• Coordinate strategic projects, growth initiatives and regulatory change programmes.
• Support the onboarding and integration of Relationship Managers and teams.
• Act as a key liaison between Front Office, Risk, Compliance, Finance and Operations.
• Manage governance processes, management committees and senior stakeholder reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, processes and business performance across the regional franchise.

Requirements

• Experience in Business Management, COO Office, Chief of Staff or a similar role within Private Banking or Wealth Management.
• Strong understanding of private banking business models, governance and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven track record supporting senior management with business planning, strategic initiatives and performance management.
• Experience managing budgets, financial reporting and business analytics.
• Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Knowledge of the Middle East wealth management market; experience within a Swiss private banking platform is also advantageous.
• Excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving abilities.
