Job Description
**We're Hiring: Corporate Affairs Specialist**

We are seeking a **strategic, articulate, and highly professional Corporate Affairs Specialist** to support the organization's corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, external relations, and reputation management initiatives.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to strengthen the organization's corporate reputation, manage stakeholder relationships, coordinate external communications, and support strategic corporate affairs initiatives.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, strong business awareness, sound judgment, and the ability to manage sensitive corporate matters with professionalism and discretion.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Support the development and execution of corporate affairs and external relations strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Develop and coordinate corporate communications, announcements, statements, newsletters, presentations, briefing materials, and other corporate content.
• Manage relationships with key external stakeholders, including government agencies, regulators, industry associations, business partners, media, and community organizations.
• Support senior management in preparing speeches, talking points, briefing notes, presentations, and stakeholder communications.
• Monitor government policies, regulations, industry developments, public affairs issues, and market trends that may affect the organization.
• Conduct research and provide timely updates and insights on relevant political, economic, regulatory, industry, and stakeholder developments.
• Support government relations and regulatory engagement activities where required.
• Coordinate meetings, stakeholder engagements, corporate events, conferences, forums, and official visits.
• Maintain professional relationships with media representatives and support media engagement activities.
• Prepare media materials, press releases, corporate statements, Q&A documents, and other communications when required.
• Monitor media coverage, public sentiment, industry discussions, and emerging reputation risks.
• Support corporate reputation, brand positioning, and issues-management initiatives.
• Assist in developing crisis communication plans and coordinate communications during sensitive or high-profile situations.
• Ensure corporate messages are accurate, consistent, professional, and aligned with organizational values and positioning.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Legal, Compliance, HR, Government Relations, Investor Relations, and other departments on corporate affairs matters.
• Support corporate social responsibility, community engagement, sustainability, and public relations initiatives.
• Maintain stakeholder databases, engagement records, communication materials, and corporate affairs documentation.
• Prepare regular reports on stakeholder engagement, media activity, regulatory developments, and corporate affairs performance.
• Assist with corporate presentations, annual reports, corporate profiles, public disclosures, and other official communications.
• Coordinate with external consultants, public relations agencies, government relations advisors, media partners, and other service providers.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen corporate visibility, stakeholder trust, and organizational reputation.
• Ensure all external communications comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, corporate governance standards, and confidentiality obligations.
• Support senior leadership with special projects, strategic initiatives, and other corporate affairs responsibilities as required.
**Requirements**
• Proven experience as a Corporate Affairs Specialist, Corporate Communications Specialist, Public Affairs Specialist, Government Relations Specialist, PR Specialist, or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of corporate communications, public affairs, stakeholder engagement, and reputation management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to tone, clarity, accuracy, and professionalism.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives, government officials, regulators, media representatives, business partners, and other external stakeholders.
• Strong research, analytical, and reporting skills.
• Ability to monitor and interpret regulatory, political, economic, social, and industry developments.
• Strong understanding of corporate reputation, media relations, issues management, and external communications.
• Excellent organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, integrity, and judgment when handling sensitive information.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and constantly changing corporate environment.
• Experience supporting government relations, regulatory affairs, crisis communications, or public policy initiatives is an advantage.
• Experience working with media, PR agencies, government bodies, industry associations, or corporate stakeholders is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, presentation tools, media monitoring platforms, and corporate communication systems is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Business Administration, Political Science, Public Affairs, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant professional certifications or postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
