About the Firm
A leading US law firm with a strong global presence is seeking a talented Corporate / Equity Capital Markets (ECM) Lawyer to join its growing UAE practice. The firm is widely recognised for advising on high-profile cross-border transactions across the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.
The Role
You will play a key role in advising regional and international clients on a broad range of corporate and capital markets matters. The position offers exposure to complex, high-value transactions and the opportunity to work closely with market-leading partners across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising on equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs, rights issues, and secondary offerings
- Supporting clients on public and private M&A transactions
- Drafting and negotiating transaction documents, prospectuses, and offering memoranda
- Advising on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and listing rules
- Coordinating with international counsel on cross-border deals
- Managing client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives
Candidate Requirements
- Common law qualified lawyer (E&W, AUS, NZ, SA preferred) with 27 years PQE
- Strong experience in ECM transactions and general corporate matters from a top-tier international law firm
- Experience advising on Middle East transactions is advantageous but not essential
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Commercially minded with the ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment
