The Opportunity
A leading global consulting firm is hiring a Corporate Finance Consultant to join its Deals Desk in Singapore, supporting South East Asia transactions end-to-end. This is a high-visibility role partnering closely with deal teams and senior stakeholders across the region, providing commercial and financial insight through the full M&A and investment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Support buy-side and sell-side M&A engagements across SEA, from origination support through execution.
- Build and review financial models (3-statement, DCF, sensitivities, scenario analysis, LBO where relevant).
- Prepare investment committee materials, board packs, teasers, IMs, and management presentation content.
- Conduct commercial and financial analysis: market sizing, competitor benchmarking, synergy assessment, and value creation initiatives.
- Assist with due diligence workstreams (financial, operational, and strategic) and coordinate inputs across internal specialists.
- Contribute to valuation work and transaction structuring considerations.
- Support deal pipeline management for the regional deals desk (tracking, prioritisation, and stakeholder updates).
- Engage with clients, bankers, legal advisors, and internal leadership to keep execution moving at pace.
Requirements
- 6+ years experience in corporate finance / M&A advisory / transaction services / strategy consulting / private equity portfolio value creation (flexible depending on level).
- Strong capability in financial modelling and valuation with an ability to translate analysis into a clear narrative.
- Experience working on SEA or APAC cross-border deals preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills—comfortable producing client-ready materials.
- Commercial mindset, proactive stakeholder management, and ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-deal environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar; CFA / ACA / ACCA / MBA is a plus.
