About the role

Are you a management consultant with extensive modelling experience and hands-on expertise Are you looking to elevate your career by working in Finance for Venture Building, helping creating ventures from cutting-edge technologies developed by the Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC) in Abu Dhabi We are seeking a Corporate Finance & Venture Capital Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Modelling: Prepare financial plans and build complex Excel-based financial models for business cases and analysis. Conduct scenario analyses to assess business risks.
  • Complex Financial Analysis: Perform detailed analyses of financial information and evaluate performance for the holding company and its new ventures (subsidiaries).
  • Data visualization: Develop interactive and insightful financial dashboards and reports using visualization tools to support data-driven decision-making. Transform complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Investment presentations: Support the financial assessment of new companies / technologies by analyzing quantitatively the commercial and financial viability of the new ventures. Present findings to senior audiences.
  • Financial Reports: Prepare and present accurate, comprehensive, and understandable financial reports for top management.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead annual budgeting, coordinate with different departments for budgetary requirements, and build models incorporating assumptions and cost drivers.
  • Monitoring: Monitor financial plans, track actual financials, build forecasts, perform risk assessments, and adjust original plans as necessary.
  • Collaborating with Key Stakeholders: Work closely with management and key stakeholders to gather and analyze financial information to support business decisions.
  • Capital Raising Support: Assist in creating materials to support raising capital from outside investors.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Expertise in advanced Excel modeling.
  • Finance Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting concepts and the application of financial techniques such as Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Net Present Value (NPV), and Internal Rate of Return (IRR).
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Highly organized with the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, collaboration, and effective communication with different stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of working experience in management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, or M&A.
