Associate / Senior Associate - Corporate/Funds
An international law firm are seeking a 5+ PQE associate or senior associate, to join their Dubai office
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on the establishment, structuring, and ongoing operation of investment funds (including private equity, real estate, and venture capital funds)
- Provide corporate advisory support, including M&A, joint ventures, and restructurings
- Draft and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including fund documentation, shareholder agreements, and subscription agreements
- Liaise with regional regulators and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Manage client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives
- Supervise and mentor junior lawyers where appropriate
Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer (UK, US, or other common law jurisdiction preferred)
- Minimum 5 years PQE with strong experience in corporate and/or funds work gained at a reputable international or regional law firm (essential)
- Experience advising on fund formation and related regulatory matters is highly desirable
- Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and commercial awareness
- Excellent communication and drafting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
