Main Purpose:
This role is responsible for establishing and enhancing Lifera's governance frameworks, decision-making structures, and accountability mechanisms, ensuring effective oversight, transparency, and alignment with leading governance practices, while supporting executive leadership in strengthening organizational governance.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Lead the development and continuous enhancement of corporate governance frameworks, structures, and guidelines, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and leading practices.
- Develop the yearly budget ensuring alignment to plans and needs, ensuring the effective utilization of the budget and report accurately any deviations.
- Design and oversee organizational governance structures, ensuring clear mandates, roles, and decision-making authorities across functions.
- Establish and maintain delegation of authority (DoA) frameworks, ensuring clarity of decision rights, accountability, and escalation mechanisms.
- Define and standardize decision-making frameworks and approval processes, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and consistency across Lifera.
- Oversee the development and periodic review of governance policies and frameworks, ensuring clarity, usability, and alignment across functions.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of governance practices and structures, identifying gaps and driving improvements to enhance accountability and performance.
- Drive the adoption of governance principles and practices across Lifera, ensuring consistent understanding and application.
- Stay abreast of best practices to enable continuous improvement of systems, processes, and policies related.
- Lead the process of effective manpower planning of the function and ensure that team is qualified through recruitment, training and development, performance management and maintain high level of employee engagement and motivation.
- Identify, build, and strengthen strategic networks that enable the achievement of related strategic and functional objectives.
- Review and approve progress reports, highlighting key updates and insights, and ensure proper communication with relevant stakeholders.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, Finance or any related field is required.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, Finance or any related field is preferred.
- Chartered Governance Professional (CGP) certificate or equivalent is preferred.
Work Experience:
- 10 12 years of relevant experience in corporate governance, board affairs, or related areas (e.g., policy, strategy support, or institutional governance).
