Corporate Restructuring Manager (Collection Manager)- UAE National

Role Description:

To manage a portfolio of allocated classified or defaulted accounts and to ensure maximization of recoveries from such allocated portfolio through restructuring, recoveries and/or realization of collateral to result in the maximum reduction in the outstanding of the allocated portfolio.

Proactively develop, evaluate, and implement strategies for the assigned portfolio (including NPLs and Written-Off accounts) to minimize loss/provisions and maximize recoveries.

Key responsibilities:

• Achieve the financial & non-financial recovery targets as set out in OKRs/KPIs.
• Identify and develop potential strategies to maximize recoveries from the allocated portfolio to achieve the Unit's Plan.
• Prepare credit review proposals to recommend restructuring or settlement plans supported by all required documents including financial analysis and assessment of customer's ability to adhere to the restructuring or settlement plan.
• Review the risk rating of the accounts in the allocated portfolio and propose amendments as required to be in line with the approved internal policies and procedures and CBUAE guidelines.
• Ensure compliance to the Bank's policies and procedures. Attend to regulatory authorities, internal and external audit, and compliance requirements wherever needed. 

Qualifications

• BA/BS Finance / Accounting / Management.
• Minimum 5 years in similar role with direct exposure to borrowers.
• Hands on experience with Financial Analysis, Risk Analysis.
• Basic understanding of Legal proceedings and steps.
