Key Responsibilities
Client Facing & Business Development
Act as a primary point of contact for key clients, providing strategic legal advice across corporate and
commercial matters.
Support the growth of the office by building strong client relationships and participating in business
development initiatives.
Identify opportunities to originate work and contribute to the firm's market presence.
Legal Advisory & Transactional Work
Lead and support on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including:
Structuring and corporate reorganisations
Commercial contracts and agreements
Mergers & acquisitions (M&A)
Private equity (PE) transactions
Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents with minimal supervision.
Manage matters end-to-end to ensure delivery of high-quality, commercially focused work.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
Provide guidance, supervision, and mentorship to junior lawyers and trainees.
Contribute to the development of internal processes and best practices.
Support the Partner/Head of Office in establishing a strong, collaborative team culture.
Requirements
58+ years PQE (or equivalent experience) in corporate/commercial law gained from a reputable law
firm or in-house environment.
Strong experience in structuring, commercial agreements, M&A, and/or private equity transactions.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Bilingual (Arabic/English) highly preferred, but not essential.
Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality legal work.
Comfortable in a client-facing, entrepreneurial environment with an interest in originating business.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with a passion for mentoring junior team members.
