Director – Corporate Tax Advisory

Acquisory is seeking a Director to lead its Corporate Tax advisory practice in Dubai. The role combines technical leadership, client delivery, team development and business development. The candidate must be currently based in the UAE and have hands-on experience with the UAE tax framework.

Key responsibilities

• Lead UAE Corporate Tax advisory and compliance engagements, including tax assessments, return reviews, planning and implementation support.
• Advise clients on international tax, transfer pricing, transactions and restructuring matters, working with specialist teams where required.
• Own senior client relationships, provide practical advice and ensure the quality and timely delivery of engagements.
• Develop the Corporate Tax practice by identifying market opportunities, shaping service offerings and mentoring the team.
• Drive business development: originate new client opportunities, expand existing accounts, build referral relationships, lead proposals and pitches, and convert opportunities into engagements.
• Take responsibility for the practice's revenue pipeline, engagement profitability and commercial performance.

Candidate profile

• 8–10 years of relevant tax experience, with strong UAE Corporate Tax advisory experience and a proven record of leading client engagements.
• Established relationships in the UAE market and demonstrated ability to win new business.
• Strong knowledge of international tax and transfer pricing; experience with complex advisory or transaction work is an advantage.
• Experience managing teams and senior stakeholders in a consulting or professional services environment.
• CA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT, CPA or an equivalent qualification preferred.
• Excellent commercial judgment, communication and presentation skills.
