Job Description

Tiqmo is seeking a highly motivated and experienced corridor officer to drive growth of specific nationality targets by identifying and securing opportunities via continuous engagements from the targeted corridor audiences. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of remittances, compliance requirements, and a proven track record in consistent community outreach programs.

Primary Duties and Key Responsibilities

Acquisition:

  • Come up with and implement acquisition strategies to meet the required customer targets from your target corridor
  • Explore partnerships with either relatable businesses, corridor embassy, or community organizations to boost user onboarding and grow acquired users
  • Create measures of customer retention and boosting loyalty for your existing corridor customers

Business Growth:

  • Engage with your target corridor audience in creating a strong brand presence and reminding your target to be using Tiqmo for their remittance needs
  • Come up with promotional campaigns to boost remittances and processed volumes for your target corridor

Product:

  • Employ methods to collect regular feedback from your target corridor audience to find opportunities in product enhancements for existing product offering
  • Employ methods to collect regular feedback from your target corridor audience to find opportunities in coming up and launching new products to boost both acquisition and business

Community Outreach:

  • Ensure active on-ground engagement with your target corridor audiences through various activities, and events
  • Ensure continuous engagement with your target corridor audiences via social media through a close collaboration with the marketing team
  • Explore outdoor branding opportunities to reach your target audience

Collaboration and Teamwork:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to align strategies and ensure seamless client experiences and corridor product knowledge
  • Provide feedback from client interactions to the product development team for continuous improvement of Tiqmo's remittance offerings.

Market Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct market analysis to identify competitors, market trends, and potential areas for improvement and expansion.
  • Prepare regular reports detailing outreach activities, remittances and volume performance and acquisition achievements for management review.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (a master's degree would be an advantage).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Proven experience in corridor business management, with a focus on driving acquisition and business growth within the remittance industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of community outreach and working with groups of people.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and overcome obstacles in the sales process.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain people relationships, understanding their unique needs and pain points.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
