We are currently seeking a highly analytical and hands-on Cost Accountant to join our Finance team.
The Cost Accountant provides a combination of financial management and analytical expertise to help the company understand, control, and improve the drivers of costs across key business functions including production, distribution (trading and retail), and corporate overhead.
This is a hands-on role that works closely with department heads and operational teams to strengthen cost visibility, inventory accuracy, and margin performance. The position requires regular on-site involvement within production facilities and retail outlets to ensure proper cost tracking, inventory control, and process implementation.
As part of the Finance team, the Cost Accountant will also support broader financial operations including general ledger activities, inventory management, payables and receivables oversight, and fixed asset management. The role plays a critical part in building structured cost accounting systems, improving operational processes, and enhancing profitability across the group.

Key Responsibilities:
Cost & Margin Analysis
Analyze wholesale inventory costs and flows to improve margins
Support wholesale sales to brick-and-mortar and e-commerce retailers
Manage and review customer contracts, supply agreements, consignment agreements, and related invoicing
Analyze retail sales performance, stock turnover, and margin optimization
Develop and maintain a production accounting system to calculate Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)
Analyze corporate overhead to identify cost drivers and profitability improvement areas
Inventory & Operational Control
Control physical inventory across warehouses, production units, and retail stores
Lead periodic stock counts, reconciliations, and variance analysis
Implement and monitor bar-code systems for inbound and outbound inventory flows
Establish business processes and tools to track product movement through production
Oversee purchasing, receiving, stock counting, and reconciliation procedures
Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of inventory and cost information within ERP systems
Financial Reporting & Systems
Prepare budgets, cost reports, and margin analysis for management
Provide managers with cost and profitability reports
Recommend inventory and operational process improvements to increase profits
Support general ledger, payables, receivables, and fixed asset management
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
ACCA or CPA designation (mandatory)
Strong accounting and financial analysis skills
Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
Advanced Excel skills
Statistical analysis and SQL experience (advantage)
Fluent in English
Strong analytical mindset with a hands-on operational approach
