About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing cost analyses, maintaining accurate cost records, and providing financial insights to support management decisions that enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze daily cost reports.
- Maintain accurate records of the cost of goods sold (COGS).
- Monitor and report cost variances, recommending corrective actions.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
- Review and update standard costing as needed.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for services, projects, and operations.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing cost-related documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cost efficiency and control procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and costing methods.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Sheets, and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be a Filipino (female) candidate who is willing to relocate.
