Job Summary
We are seeking an Accountant with strong experience in costing and hands-on knowledge of Odoo. The role involves cost control, inventory and production costing, and accurate financial reporting using the Odoo system.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage product and project costing in Odoo
- Monitor and analyze cost structures, variances, and margins
- Maintain inventory costing, stock valuation, and WIP
- Record journal entries related to costing and inventory
- Coordinate with operations, procurement, and stores teams
- Ensure accurate cost allocation and absorption
- Prepare costing reports for management review
- Support month-end and year-end closing
- Assist in VAT compliance and audit requirements
- Ensure proper configuration and use of Odoo costing modules
- Hand on experiences in BILL OF MATERIALS and PRODUCTS RECIPE
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience in costing accounting
- Strong hands-on experience with Odoo (mandatory)
- Good knowledge of inventory, standard and actual costing
- Strong Excel skills for analysis and reporting
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills
- Experience in manufacturing, trading, or contracting companies
- Knowledge of Saudi VAT and local accounting practices
- Good communication skills in English, Arabic
