Cost Accountant ( Production)

Role Description

Ensure effective production monitoring and control, in addition to accurate, timely, and fully documented cost accounting, production costing, and inventory valuation for the factory, supporting management decisions, profitability analysis, and compliance with corporate policies and statutory regulations

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and monitor production costs (materials, labor, overheads) and ensure accurate costing (COGM & COGS)
• Analyze variances between actual and standard costs and identify improvement areas
• Monitor inventory, reconcile physical vs. system stock, and ensure accurate valuation in ERP
• Prepare cost reports and provide insights on expenses, consumption, and product costing
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, and Warehouse to ensure smooth operations
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, IFRS, and Saudi regulations
• Support audits and maintain accurate documentation
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in cost accounting (manufacturing/FMCG preferred)
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or MS Dynamics)
• Strong knowledge of inventory, costing, and variance analysis
• Professional certification (CPA/CMA) is a plus
