Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and verify product costing model.
Drive operational data collection and costing project activities.
Report timely variance analysis and action plan to address the variance gap.
Conduct project review with HODs to report cost and benefit analysis by product, and cost control activities.
Initiate realignment and improvement in accounting system and inventory procedures to support costing project.
Handle inventory cost review.
Prepare and review capital investment to assess payback period and NPV.
Handle/Manage full set accounts under Financial Accounting.
Job Requirements:
At least 6 years working experience with 3 years in costing/financial accounting in a manufacturing environment.
Meticulous, proactive, analytical and independent.
Degree in Cost Accounting/Accountancy or professional qualification in ACCA/CIMA/MACPA/CPA.
Hands on in handling cost accounting in a manufacturing operations/process.
Knowledge of ERP system is an advantage.
