Job Description
We are looking for Cost Control & Planning Engineer who will be responsible to ensure project completion within the approved budget by minimizing cost deviations. Lead project cost control, budgeting, planning, development, monitoring, and forecasting.
Responsibilities
- Provide planning and cost-control support across all projects, including variation reporting, milestone monitoring, and customer billing preparation.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project budgets.
- Control total project expenditure; verify invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Review cost estimates and recommend improvements for future budgets and procurement strategies.
- Manage project accounting databases to ensure accuracy, security, and timely updates.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
- Prepare monthly project forecasts based on ongoing activities and team inputs.
- Generate monthly cost reports to ensure expenditures remain within budget.
- Support accounts receivable during billing cycles; monitor billing status and resolve unbilled items.
- Safeguard company interests when dealing with external parties.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
Years Of Experience
- Minimum 5 years in project cost control and planning.
- Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera preferred.
