Cost Control Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cost Control Engineer with a proven track record in managing project costs, forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance across large-scale Civil and MEP construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts

Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets

Prepare accurate cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses for management review

Identify cost-saving opportunities and support value engineering initiatives

Evaluate change orders, claims, and variations from a cost perspective

Collaborate closely with Project Management, Commercial, Procurement, and Finance teams

Monitor resource productivity and project cost efficiency

Maintain and enhance cost control processes through ERP and project management systems

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline

Minimum 10 years of experience in cost control within the construction industry

Strong UAE/GCC experience on major building and infrastructure projects

Demonstrated expertise in both Civil and MEP cost management

Advanced analytical, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting capabilities

Proficiency in ERP systems and cost management software

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
