We are looking for a Cost Control Engineer (Saudi National) for a Global Construction Consulting Firm based in Riyadh.

Salary 27,700 SAR/month
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Accounting, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in cost control within large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience working on major national or international developments.
- Strong expertise in project cost management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple project cost streams simultaneously.
- Experience presenting financial insights and reports to senior leadership and government stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve cost control strategies and procedures.
- Monitor project financial performance, identifying risks, variances, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and present detailed cost reports, forecasts, and variance analysis to senior management.
- Track and control project budgets in collaboration with project managers and department heads.
- Review and approve purchase orders, invoices, and expenses to ensure alignment with budgets and policies.
- Conduct audits of financial data and cost control processes to identify discrepancies and improvements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities across projects.
- Lead and mentor junior cost control staff, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost efficiency initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and cost management best practices.
- Provide expert guidance to internal stakeholders on cost control and financial management.
