Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Cost Control Engineer to manage project cost monitoring, reporting, and financial control for road and construction projects. The role requires strong analytical ability, commercial awareness, advanced Excel expertise, and hands-on experience with Candy software.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and control project budgets and cost breakdown structures
• Monitor actual costs versus planned costs and perform variance analysis
• Prepare detailed cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow statements
• Utilize Candy software for cost tracking and reporting
• Support interim payment applications and progress billing
• Assist with variation pricing, evaluation, and commercial assessments
• Coordinate with project, procurement, and finance teams
• Identify cost risks, overruns, and cost-saving opportunities
• Present accurate financial and cost data to management

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
• Minimum 45 years experience in road or construction projects
• Strong cost analysis and financial reporting skills
• Proven commercial awareness, including variations, claims support, and cost evaluation
• Mandatory experience using Candy software
• Advanced Excel expertise is mandatory (analysis, reporting, formulas, dashboards)
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• UAE experience.
