Job Description
Key Accountabilities: ( main a ccountability statements in the form of verb/noun/results area – not list of tasks)
· Lead the preparation and development of cost estimates for projects during the planning and design phases
· Prepare reports based on design and / or construction cost estimates and provide updates at regular intervals.
· Develop and maintain project budgets to ensure accurate financial planning and resource allocation.
· Provide PVR's for all projects, invoicing against forecasts and cost to come forecast.
· Generate regular financial reports to track project expenditures and compare them against the budget.
· Conduct variance analysis to identify and explain differences between actual costs and budgeted costs.
· Implement cost control measures and monitor their effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
· Identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on the project.
· Communicate cost-related information and updates to project stakeholders, including management and clients.
· Review and manage contracts to ensure compliance with financial terms and conditions.
· Identify opportunities for process improvements in cost control practices and implement best practices.
