Cost Controller and Purchasing

We are looking for an experienced Cost Controller & Purchaser with a strong background in the F&B industry to manage food costing, inventory control, purchasing, supplier coordination, and margin analysis across our operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Monitor food cost, COGS, gross profit, and product margins.

* Prepare and maintain recipe costing and BOMs.

* Review purchase prices and analyze cost fluctuations.

* Conduct and supervise stock counts and investigate inventory variances.

* Monitor wastage, stock losses, and consumption.

* Coordinate purchasing requirements with kitchen, butchery, and operations teams.

* Source suppliers, obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and ensure competitive purchasing terms.

* Prepare and follow up purchase orders and supplier deliveries.

* Maintain accurate inventory and purchasing records in SAP/ERP.

* Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment without overstocking.

* Review supplier invoices against purchase orders, GRPOs, and agreed prices.

* Prepare cost-control reports and highlight areas requiring corrective action.

Requirements

* Previous experience in F&B cost control and purchasing is required.

* Strong knowledge of inventory management, recipe costing, BOMs, and food-cost analysis.

* Good understanding of purchasing procedures and supplier negotiation.

* Experience with SAP or another ERP system is preferred.

* Strong Excel and analytical skills.

* Detail-oriented, organized, and able to coordinate effectively with multiple departments.

* UAE F&B experience is preferred.
