The project comprises mainly Infrastructure Works (Roads & Bridges), and the Sr. Cost Engineer will be involved in Pre-Contract and Post-Contract duties, including:
Quantity take-off and preparation of BOQ
Cost Estimating and Cost Planning
Budgeting and Cost Control
Preparation of Cost Reports
Preparation of Tender / RFP Documents
Tender Analysis
Contract Administration
Valuation of Contractors Payment Applications
Valuation of Variations
Attending meetings
Coordination with Client, Consultants and Contractors
Reporting Line
Sr. Cost Manager
Skills
Should have exposure in the following areas:
Work experience in large-scale Infrastructure Projects (Roads & Bridges)
Quantity Take-Off and Preparation of BOQ
Ability to create accurate project cost estimates based on data analysis and historical information.
Cost Control during Pre-Contract and Post-Contract Phases
Preparation of Cost Reports and Cash Flow projections
Preparation of Tender Documents
Tender Analysis
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with cost estimating and reporting software, mainly CostX
Education Requirements
(Including Certification requirements)
Degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying
Experience in Years Specific Experience in Region
8- 10 years
Some experience in Saudi Arabia is an added value
