AESG are currently recruiting a
Cost Manager to join our cost management team to work on a project in
Dubai.
As a
Cost Manager, you will support project leader in generating a high standard of service delivery, achieving successful outcomes for our client, and reinforcing our reputation as a preferred service provider.
Job Purpose
- Day-to-day management of AESG Cost Management project delivery, resource management, and proposals (if needed).
- Attend regular meetings with clients and lead commercial meetings.
- Manage and motivate the cost management team.
- Manage multiple client relationships.
Qualifications And Experience
- BSc or MSc in a Quantity Surveying or Contracts related field.
- Strong understanding of construction costs in UAE and KSA
- Preferred minimum 4+ years of working experience.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of cost management activities including project delivery and resource management.
- Preparation, submission, and winning proposals (if required).
- Independently manage complex projects and resolve complex project issues.
- Maintaining effective communication to ensure all information is available for the successful completion of projects, liaising with other managers to ensure efficient financial control.
- Provide mentorship and support to the graduate and junior cost management team.
- Support the commercial success and stability of the cost management division.
- Ensure the successful delivery of projects to exemplary levels of quality.
- Lead and implement AESG business development within the sector of expertise.
- Demonstrate expertise in discipline with a proven track record of success.
- Support the development of procedures to improve division function and efficiency.
- Providing accurate cost advice and reporting to our clients.
- Delivering all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner.
- Providing support to the team leader/service leaders in the cost management of projects.
- Ensure effective interaction between the cost management team and the operational teams.
- Support in bid pricing and negotiation (if required).
- Carry out cost management including forecasting. Prepare cost estimates of project design stages.
- Pipeline and invoicing management for CM projects under your management.
