Job Description

Purpose of the Job:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent services by following rules and regulations of travel industry. Ensure efficient front-line airline representation and customer service

Job Accountabilities:

Manage airline counters and passenger handling;

Maintain service quality and airline brand standards

Manage the sales counter, deal with walk-in, and telephone customers to provide up-to-date information on flights, packages, hotels, car hire and other travel services.

Make bookings for travel services by computer or telephone.

Issue tickets/travel documents and brief customer as appropriate.

Follows-up on wait-listed and time limit bookings and coordinate with customers.

Obtain pre-flight confirmations from passengers.

Deal with lost tickets/baggage.

Arrange delivery of documents.

Ensure payment is received in full prior to travel.

Distribute brochures where appropriate.

Ensure all manuals and airline tariff information are up to date.

Prepare daily sales report and reconcile for submission to Supervisor.

Perform all the activities in compliance with the Company's QHSEMS and as per the assigned specific responsibilities.

Qualifications & Education

Grade 12 and above

Experience

Minimum 2years of experience in a similar role within the travel industry.

Knowledge & Skills

Fluent in English; Arabic an advantage.

Computer literate.
