The role focuses on supporting customers with Perkins engine spare parts by handling inquiries, identifying needs, and recommending appropriate parts and repair solutions. The position involves preparing quotations, following up with customers, and closing sales while ensuring excellent customer service. It also includes checking parts availability, inspecting incoming shipments, maintaining accurate records in the CRM system, and coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment. Additionally, the role supports sales, service, and field teams whenever needed
Responsibilities
- Handle all counters, walk-in, and direct customer inquiries.
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable Perkins spare parts solutions.
- Promote repair options and drive parts upselling.
- Prepare quotations, follow up, and efficiently close sales.
- Advise customers on related parts (gaskets, seals, service kits, etc.).
- Check part availability and recommend suitable substitutions when required.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts shipments against orders, reporting any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales data in CRM.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Support sales, service, and field teams as needed.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field).
- 03 years of experience (experience in diesel engines or spare parts)
- Good knowledge of Perkins engines and spare parts is preferred.
- Strong communication and sales skills.
- Good command of English.
- Customer-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a proactive, organized, and self-motivated attitude.
