Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Communications & government relations

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive PR and communication strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead corporate storytelling, brand positioning, and thought leadership across all media and digital channels.
  • Manage media relations, including press releases, interviews, crisis communications, and media kits.
  • Oversee content creation for speeches, executive messages, website content, newsletters, and campaign materials.
  • Ensure consistent and compelling messaging across all touchpoints.

Government & Regulatory Relations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, regulators, and public stakeholders relevant to the industry.
  • Monitor evolving regulations, policies, and industry developments to assess impact on company strategy in Egypt.
  • Represent the company in regulatory discussions, industry councils, and government-led initiatives.
  • Advocate for the company's interests and stay updated with the policies that support innovation and mobility.
  • Prepare policy briefs, position papers, and regulatory reports for internal and external use.

Communications Strategy & Crisis Management

  • Develop crisis-communication protocols and lead response efforts when necessary.
  • Manage reputation risks and proactively identify issues that could affect the company.
  • Advise senior leadership on communication strategy, stakeholder engagement, and public positioning.

Internal Communications & Culture Enablement

  • Create and implement internal communication programs that support culture, transparency, and employee engagement.
  • Align internal messaging with corporate objectives and major company milestones.
  • Manage company-wide announcements, leadership communications, and key events.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, operations, and executive leadership to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Manage external agencies including PR firms, government-relations consultants, and media partners.

Job Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in corporate communications, PR, and government relations within a tech or innovation-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of Egypt's regulatory, media, and public-policy landscape, particularly as it relates to technology and digital platforms.
  • Proven ability to lead corporate storytelling, thought leadership, media relations, and crisis communications.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging with government entities, regulators, and industry stakeholders.
  • Excellent strategic judgment and ability to translate complex technical or regulatory issues into clear messaging.
  • Strong executive presence with experience advising senior leadership and managing external agencies.
  • Fluency in English is a must and french is a plus
