PPC specializes in drilling fluids and associated equipment services. Our geographical territory covers the Middle East and Caspian with current operations in the UAE, Iraq, Kuwait, and Yemen.

Reporting to :- General Manager
Job Objective :- This is an important leadership role. The purpose of the role is to take accountability for all PPC operations in UAE and lead the team to deliver the Plan, optimizing profitability, delighting customers and inspiring colleagues. The incumbent is an important safety leader who must exemplify operational safety and demonstrate all the attribute necessary to achieve business excellence and protection of the environment.
Key Responsibilities/Duties :-
- In partnership with the General Manager and Director MES, execute and improve the annual business plan for UAE with 1-3 and 5 year forecasting to strengthen the organization's positioning in the industry.
- To be accountable for the implementation of business strategy for UAE to ensure maximum adherence to the plan and effectiveness in reaching all areas of the business.
- In collaboration with the General Manager, support the delivery of results for the full P&L and financial position of the company.
- Develop and implement the strategic plan in UAE for short- and long-term sales and growth opportunities by studying technological and financial aspects and presenting assumptions and recommending objectives.
- Plan and direct the organizations activities to achieve stated /agreed targets and standards for financial and trading performance, quality, culture and legislative adherence.
- Lead on all Drilling Fluid tenders and contracts and check and approve terms and conditions of all contracts to maintain due diligence and consistent approach for PPC business development.
- Develop and implement Drilling Fluids sales and service strategies for UAE. Maintain service quality by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- To be fully accountable for effective people management including recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, developing, coaching, counseling, and performance management of all senior and middle managers and staff; developing performance targets and incentives, communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing a climate for offering information and opinions.
- Direct functions and performance via Department Managers; Contribute to plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course corrections. Hold the Department Managers accountable for the successes and failures of their department.
- Maintain and develop the organizational culture, values and supreme reputation in the business arena with all Clients, Customers, Suppliers, Partners and Regulatory Bodies.
- Build company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices.
- Declare and approve the QHSE policy of the company and ensure that it is effectively and successfully implemented.
- To work in conjunction with the Director Oil and Gas and General Managers of the Oil and Gas group to develop and grow the O&G sector.
- Maintain the quality, environmental and OH&S management system.
- Communicate the importance of fulfilling customer, legal and regulatory compliance requirements through periodic communication meetings as well as by conducting management reviews to ensure the availability of resources, that risk assessments are understood, and the integrated management system achieves its intended results.
- Provide accountability and governance to all activities related to the lifecycle of our processes and products.
- Ensure that the corporate policies are understood, implemented and maintained throughout at all levels.
- Responsible for the quality of Petrochem Performance Chemicals LLC products and services since you control the resources, systems and processes by which conforming work is accomplished.
- Accept the legal and moral obligations to ensure, as far as reasonably practicable, a safe and healthy working environment.
Specialized Knowledge :- Expert knowledge of drilling fluids products, solid control and waste management.
Experience :- 15-18 years experience in Drilling Fluids / O&G industry, of which 5-7 years in a management / supervisory role.
Academic Qualifications :- PreferredBachelor degree in Chemical / Chemistry / Petroleum Engineering or related subject. MBA degree will be an added advantage
