Forest Interactive is expanding its Mobile VAS operations across the Middle East & Africa (MEA). We are looking for a skilled and motivated Assistant Manager / Manager Mobile VAS to drive business growth, manage key partnerships, and support our UAE entity operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Mobile VAS strategies for the UAE and MEA region.
- Build and maintain relationships with telecom aggregators, content providers, digital marketing partners, and agencies.
- Plan, test, and launch subscription-based mobile services and campaigns across multiple markets.
- Drive commercial performance and revenue growth through innovative VAS products and marketing initiatives.
- Manage UAE entity operational needs, including trade license renewals and coordination with government authorities.
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance with UAE requirements.
- Support accounting activities, including monthly reporting and annual audits.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and manage ongoing partner relationships.
- Evaluate campaign performance, optimize KPIs, and prepare business reports for management.
- Collaborate with telco operators to support service integration and operations.
- Lead and mentor junior team members to support department goals.
Requirements
- 57 years of experience in the Mobile VAS industry, preferably within the MEA region.
- Strong network of contacts across aggregators, telcos, content providers, and digital agencies.
- Proven track record in business development, partnership management, and revenue generation.
- Strong understanding of mobile subscription services, carrier billing, and the telco ecosystem.
- Knowledge of digital marketing (Google Ads, Affiliates, DSPs, in-app campaigns).
- Experience managing small teams is an advantage.
- Familiarity with digital content trends and the MENA VAS market.
- Previous experience on the Content Provider (CP) side is preferred.
- Based in Dubai or willing to relocate.
- Understanding of UAE compliance and entity management (or willingness to learn).
