Job Title: Country Manager FMCG (Qatar, Iraq & Levant)
Role Purpose
The Country Manager is responsible for supporting and executing country-level commercial strategies across assigned GCC markets, Iraq and Levant. The role focuses on driving sales growth, managing distributor relationships, and ensuring effective execution of brand, trade marketing, and go-to-market initiatives in line with regional objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Country & Distributor Management
- Manage day-to-day business performance of assigned countries through close collaboration with distributors.
- Act as the primary point of contact for distributors, ensuring alignment on sales targets, priorities, and execution standards.
- Support distributor capability development in sales planning, forecasting, and execution discipline.
Sales Performance & Market Execution
- Support the development and execution of country-level business plans aligned with regional strategy.
- Track sales performance versus targets and initiate corrective actions where required.
- Ensure effective in-market execution of promotions, pricing, launches, and visibility initiatives.
Planning & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Finance to support forecasting, S&OP inputs, and inventory alignment.
- Provide timely and accurate market intelligence, including demand trends, competitive activity, and risks/opportunities.
Trade Marketing & Brand Execution
- Support the rollout of brand and trade marketing initiatives in line with regional guidelines.
- Monitor compliance with agreed brand standards and merchandising principles.
Reporting & Governance
- Prepare regular sales, forecast, and market performance reports.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, commercial agreements, and governance frameworks.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 24 years of experience in sales, key account management, commercial operations, or country support roles within FMCG.
- Experience working with distributors in emerging or developing markets is an advantage.

- Strong commercial acumen with a hands-on, execution-focused mindset.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and market data.
- Effective communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work across cultures and manage multiple markets simultaneously.
