Kara Express | UAE
We are looking for a hands-on logistics leader to lead and grow Kara Express UAE.
This is a role for a professional who understands the logistics industry from the inside— including freight forwarding, express delivery services, air and ocean freight, domestic distribution, e-commerce logistics, client expectations, service challenges, margins, and operational pressure.
The right candidate shouldbe commercially strong, operationally practical, and ready to take full ownership of the UAE business.
The Role
You will be responsible for leading Kara Express UAE across commercial, operational, financial, and team performance.
Your focus will be to:
- Drive business growth and strengthen key client relationships
- Lead daily operations including air freight, express deliveries, domestic distribution, and e-commerce activities
- Take ownership of the country's performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L
- Build, guide, and develop local departments and UAE team
- Improve processes, service quality, and operational efficiency
- Represent Kara Express in the UAE with clients, partners, stakeholders, overseas agents, and global offices
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding (air & ocean), courier services, pricing strategies, CRM, or e-commerce logistics
- Previous experience in a senior leadership role such as Country Sales Director, Operations Director, Station Manager, Country Manager, or General Manager
- Strong commercial background with proven business development results
- Experience managing operations and financial performance
- Good understanding of logistics systems such as WMS, TMS, or e-commerce integrations is a plus
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Practical, results-driven, and able to work in a fast-moving logistics environment.
- Experience communicating with banks and local authorities such as customs, FTA, free zones, and civil aviation authorities is a plus
