Job Description

Role Objective

The Country Operations & Commercial Director will lead the company's commercial growth and operational setup, ensuring the successful development of the business infrastructure, distribution network, and sales performance.

This role is responsible for building and managing the operational foundation of the company, including establishing offices, securing warehouse facilities, organizing logistics and supply chain operations, while also driving commercial growth, distribution expansion, and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational setup of the company including establishing office space and warehouse facilities.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate warehouse locations and office spaces suitable for operational and distribution needs.
  • Oversee the setup and organization of warehouse operations, including inventory storage, stock management, and distribution processes.
  • Coordinate with management on facility requirements, operational costs, and infrastructure planning.

Logistics & Supply Chain Management

  • Develop and manage the company's logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Oversee importation, storage, inventory management, and product distribution.
  • Ensure efficient coordination between warehouse, logistics providers, distributors, and retail partners.
  • Establish systems for inventory control, order fulfillment, and product delivery.
  • Monitor logistics performance and optimize operational efficiency and cost control.

Commercial Strategy & Sales Growth

  • Develop and execute the commercial and sales strategy to achieve business growth objectives.
  • Expand and manage distribution channels, including pharmacies, beauty retailers, retail chains, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Identify and secure strategic partnerships with distributors, wholesalers, and key accounts.
  • Lead negotiations and close commercial agreements with key business partners.

Market Expansion

  • Identify opportunities to expand the brand's presence across target markets and key cities.
  • Build and manage relationships with retail chains, distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Represent the company in commercial negotiations, meetings, and industry events.

Financial Oversight & Collections

  • Monitor sales performance and ensure achievement of commercial targets.
  • Oversee client collections and receivables, ensuring compliance with agreed payment terms.
  • Work closely with finance to maintain healthy cash flow and financial discipline.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and supervise commercial, logistics, and operational teams.
  • Establish operational procedures and performance standards.
  • Build a high-performing team focused on efficiency, accountability, and growth.

Reporting & Strategic Planning

  • Provide regular reports to senior management on:
  • Sales performance
  • Operational efficiency
  • Logistics performance
  • Market expansion progress
  • Develop strategies to improve operational performance and commercial results.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 812 years of experience in Cosmetics, Beauty, Personal Care, or FMCG industries.
  • Proven experience in commercial leadership and operational management.
  • Strong experience in distribution, logistics, and supply chain operations.
  • Experience setting up warehouses, offices, and operational infrastructure.
  • Strong background in business development and sales management.
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multi-functional teams and operational processes.
  • Strong strategic and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
